      Short version: Retro Brain Trainer does not collect any personal information. We do not track
      you, sell your data, or share anything with third parties.
    

1. Information We Collect

Retro Brain Trainer is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not require account registration, email address, or any personally identifiable information.

The only data stored is:

Nickname (optional): If you choose to join the leaderboard, you pick a display nickname. This nickname is stored on our servers solely for leaderboard display purposes.
Game scores: If you participate in the leaderboard, your scores and game modes are stored alongside your chosen nickname.
Device-generated ID: A random identifier is generated locally on your device to associate your scores with your nickname. This ID is not linked to any personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

Leaderboard display only — your nickname and scores are shown to other players in the global leaderboard.
We never use this data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

3. Data Storage

Leaderboard data (nickname and scores) is stored using Google Firebase Firestore. Google's privacy policy applies to this storage. For more information, visit firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

All other game data (your progress, settings, and statistics) is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted.

4. Data Deletion

You can permanently delete all your data at any time directly within the app:

Open the app → Settings → Reset All Game Data
This removes all local data and deletes your leaderboard account and scores from our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Firebase solely for leaderboard functionality. No analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools are integrated.

6. Children's Privacy

Retro Brain Trainer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal data to function.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
